Virtual tours are a very important part of the home selling process. When you have a home for sale and it’s being marketed on the internet, there must be a tour present. Internet savvy shoppers will go through thousands of listings until they find what they are looking for. If there is NOT enough information, they may rule you out before ever seeing the home in person. It works a little like this:
Looking for a home on the internet and searching the local MLS web site.
Do a search and find ten homes that fit my criteria
Then look at each listing, one at a time
Six have tours and four do not
Out of the ones that have tours, I find four that I really like
I have my Realtor make an appointment to show me the four I really like
**The four homes without tours didn’t even make it into the running since I could see four that I really like**
